Storm has designed an app for the mobile phone that measures and displays the vital functions of a patient through various sensors. Through a medically approved wrist band, vital data from patients could be continuously monitored. While checking the patients, it saves the nurses a lot of time by requesting vital data via an app. Before we started designing, we asked healthcare professionals what they encountered in their daily tasks. We combined this data with the technical possibilities of the wristband sensors. This way we involved everyone in the digital transformation. Ultimately, the emphasis of the app was on user-friendliness combined with an attractive visual design.
